Back to Work

So I went back to work this past Wednesday. It was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. When I dropped Lilli off with our neighbor (who is keeping Lil while we work- she's the best, thanks Nana), I cried so hard and had to run out of the house. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I cried the entire way to work but as I got into the store and I got to see all the guys and hear how much I was missed I felt better. Daniel sent me Lillies (my favorite), it was the most romantic and thoughtful gesture ever. I cried yet again. The card was super sweet and I'm going to keep it forever. After I got over the inital emotions I felt better and it was easier to work for the rest of the week.

Today we went to Lilli's 8 week check up. She is in the 25th percentile for her weight, 10.7 and in the 55th percentile for her height 23.5 in. The Dr. was very happy with her growth and said she is developing perfectly and if she continues to grow at this rate she is going to be tall and thin. We had to get her shots- which was harder on me than it was on her. Daniel had to hold her down and I just sat in the corner and cried- in fact, I cried longer than she did. She is now sleeping peacefully after some Tylenol and good TLC.

Welcome Little Nicholas!!!

After 41 weeks of pregnancy and 2 days of labor Nicholas Anthony Day is finally here!!! He is 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long! He has big hands and the most gorgeous skin. We were all so excited to go meet him last night. Lilli slept on the bed with her Aunt Jenn (notice the pain pump in the background) while I was seeing my newest nephew! He is so sweet and has the cutest little cry. Congratulations Tony and Jennifer!!!

Theresa's Family Pictures

Saturday Afternoon we went to the beach to take pictures of Theresa's family (Sandra's sister). The weather was absolutely beautiful!!! Despite the cold weather, Dylan still waded in the water. Daniel carried Lil around in the chest carrier and she slept the whole time. We left the beach, went by Al and Betty's and then off to Tony & Jennifer's house for dinner and Margarita's! It was a good day, I got great pictures and got to hang out with Family. It was probably the last time we will have dinner with Tony & Jenn before little Nicholas arrives. His due date was this past Sunday... we are just waiting on him to hurry up and come on out!!!

Lilli loves her Daddy!!!

There is a special bond between a little girl and her Daddy. Lilli and Daniel have that bond. It is so cute to see those two together. Here are a few shots of Lilli and Daniel in the back yard Sunday afternoon.

On a side note, I know I am way behind on blogging!!! I'm taking lots of pictures but not finding the time to put them online. I'm going to try to take care of that this week. So be looking forward to a lot of posts and pictures. Hope you are all doing well!
